Today enjoy an excursion around the capital. Take a fantastic city tour and visit the breathtaking pyramids of Teotihuacan. The capital city, with nearly 9million inhabitants, makes for a lively and culturally rich place. What was previously known as Tenochititlan, was then conquered by the Spaniards and renamed. Although the Aztec sites were preserved, the Spanish dotted cathedrals throughout the city, and Mexico City continued to grow in size and stature at an impressive rate through to the present day. One can gain insight into the ancient cultures of Mexico, whilst in the shadows of the spectacular skyscrapers of the modern-era.
