Thailand Honeymoon Tour

Thailand is the ultimate romantic destination offering perfect opportunities for romance, adventure, relaxation, pampering and the utmost of luxurious indulgence. It has some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and decadent resorts, top-class spas with centuries-old massage techniques, high-style, incredible food and beautiful landscapes. Of course, romance often springs from more traditional moments too; an exclusive “elephant safari” in the Golden Triangle jungle, a luxury secluded hideaway in the north, sit down candlelit dinner, and sundowners from mountaintops and from a remote beach. This tour is perfect for such a romantic adventure.

The Review

Begin with comprehensive touring in Bangkok. With your private guide explore Bangkok’s most unusual Buddhist temples, the Chedis of the Kings and the invaluable golden Buddha weighing over 5 tons. Enjoy a fascinating, private long-tail boat tour through Bangkok's canals, the colourful markets and shop for exquisite Thai silks and art work. In the evening dine aboard a luxurious rice barge on some of Southeast Asia’s best cuisine.

Continue to Chiang Rai, near the Golden Triangle, and stay at an exclusive safari-style tented camp. While there, explore the valleys and waterways where Laos, Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) meet along the Mekong River. Discover religious temples, military fortifications, ethnic tribes and artistic artefacts, not forgetting the culinary delights. Visit an elephant camp and spend time with a professional mahout (elephant handler) and learn to ride and work with these fascinating animals.

From the Golden Triangle, you will be privately driven to Chiang Mai where you will stay at one of Asia’s most luxurious and atmospheric resorts, surrounded by mountains and lush fields of terraced rice paddies. With your private guide explore the city of Chiang Mai, with a wealth of beautiful and historic Buddhist wats (temples) and the royal family’s Winter Palace. You will have enough time at leisure to browse craft markets or enjoy the resort's spa, cooking school, golf, or pool.

Next fly to Koh Samui, Thailand’s self-styled ‘boutique island’ that boasts some of the best beaches in the region. Stay at one of Thailand's leading luxury resorts and indulge yourself at the spa, swimming, taking cooking classes or yoga lessons. Take a half-day yacht cruise to view the island’s attractions and explore a pristine world of beaches, reefs, rainforest and sunshine.

Max your Awim
Khum Lanna cooking class. Kum Lunna is a large beautiful teak wood house in the rural heart of Northern Thailand, surrounded by emerald green rice fields and tropical orchards with an exotic and charming ambience. The local chefs here will share their years of experience to prepare some of the most loved and best-known Thai dishes. Learn how to cook authentic tasting Thai food and deserts. Later take a short cycling tour.

One More Thing

Getting There

Thailand has four international airports; in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Hat Yai, but Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport is the country's major gateway. Practically every airline carrier that flies to Asia also flies into Bangkok. This means there are plenty of services and the competition on the routes helps to keep the ticket prices down.

There are now a throng of low-cost-carriers serving Southeast Asia, led by KL-based AirAsia. It can be cost effective to fly from your home country to Bangkok, Singapore or KL with a traditional carrier, then pick up a LCC flight to your final destination. If you are travelling with AwimAway, transfers from an airport are arranged by our representatives who will meet you at the arrival lounge and transfer you to the hotel.
