Cuba Cayo Levisa Beach

Cayo Levisa, Cuba’s tiny island, off the northwestern coast of the Pinar del Río Province. Accessible only by a 30-minute boat transfer from Palma Rubia, the island has a long beach in the north, while mangrove swamps encompass the rest. Cayo Levisa has several snorkelling and diving sites nearby, that makes it a major attraction for scuba divers. On the island is a fully-equipped scuba centre, scattered bungalows and a small hotel/bar.

Take a private tour of Havana, visit to the Capitolio building, a horse drawn carriage along the Prado to the Arms Square and a walking tour of old colonial Havana. Paseo del Prado, the most beautiful street in Havana, deserves a leisurely stroll. The magnificent Gran Teatro de La Habana, is one of the world's largest opera houses. Outside Havana, Viñales valley is encircled by mountains and its landscape interspersed with dramatic rocky outcrops.

And, experience walking, culture exploration & diving off Cayo Levisa.

Getting There Virgin Atlantic is the only airline operating direct scheduled flights to Cuba, with two services a week from Gatwick. Various airlines fly to Havana from London via European cities, including Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam and Rome. Air France is the most versatile option, with daily flights from London Heathrow to Havana via Paris. Iberia and KLM also fly from Heathrow, via Madrid and Amsterdam respectively. Other airlines flying direct from European cities.

When to go Cuba is an all year-round destination and there isn't a bad time to visit Cuba. It has primarily a tropical climate where temperature range between 27 C and 32 C and there is a very pleasant breeze. There are only two seasons: the hot and rainy season runs from May to November (May-June are the wettest months) and the dry season (winter) runs from December to April. It is the time when Europeans go there in pursuit of the southern sun. Avoid the hurricanes season (September-October) and the busy periods (July and August) when the Cubans take their holidays.
