Diani Beach is Kenya’s major beach resort, south of Mombasa on the Indian Ocean. The beach is about 10 kilometres long, from the Kongo river to the north and Galu beach to the south. Adjacent and to the west of Diani Beach is the tribal town of Ukunda with a small airstrip. The beach has a shallow shore with some sandbars. Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation. Diani Beach Road running parallel to the beach has art galleries, café and bars.

This itinerary is perfect for honeymooners or romantic getaway to Kenya. The tour features three nights each in Meru and Masai Mara National Parks and stay in the top luxury resorts. The Masai Mara National Reserve is well known for its abundance of big cats. Lions, leopards and cheetahs are regularly spotted on game drives. When to go Game viewing is at its best in mid-summer after the rainy season has ended. The days will be long and the weather pleasant. The best month is probably July.

The main rainy seasons are from April to May (the long rains) and October to December (the short rains). Rainfall is seldom continuous over long periods and normally falls in the late afternoon preceded by bright sunny and fresh days. The Rift Valley and Central Highlands enjoy a temperate climate year round although the temperatures vary from the hot and relatively dry floor of the Rift valley to arctic on the peaks of Mt Kenya.
