Bali Jimbaran Bay Beach

Jimbaran Bay and the famous Jimbaran Beach is one of the famous locations in Bali for discerning travellers. Located on southwestern coast of the narrow isthmus connecting the Bali mainland and the Bukit Peninsula, Jimbaran has an endless stretch of white sandy beach, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Jimbaran is a small fishing village where you can still find fisherman tending their boats and nets and sorting their catch for market. But as the sunset approaches, the villagers set up small cafes, offering fresh seafood grilled on charcoal and served with flavoursome spices. The variety served by these beachfront cafés is said to be the most exotic seafood in Indonesia and now well known as Jimbaran Bay Seafood.

Bali Jimbaran Bay Beach Experience the incredible culture and beauty of Bali Island plus Diving, sailing, romantic sunsets.
(10 Days - Departs Daily on a Private Basis)
Jimbaran Bay, Ubud, Candidasa

This comprehensive private tour begins in Jimbaran Bay, known for some of the best sandy beaches and high-end villas in Bali. There is diving, sailing, and romantic sunset yacht rides—all of which we are happy to arrange, upon request. Ubud in the interior provides walking options around rice terraces, mountains and artisan towns where you will have your own private guide and driver.

Begin with several days of luxury and beachside relaxation in Jimbaran Bay. Jimbaran is predominately a working fishing village with the traditional jukung (fishing) boats. With some of the best sandy beaches in south Bali, it has many high-end villas in this area, particularly on the ridges of high ground above Jimbaran Bay.

This has resulted in monikers such as the "Beverly Hills of Bali" or "Millionaire's Row". A guide and driver will be at your disposal for a few hours each day, should you decide to venture to local shops and seafood restaurants.

Continue inland to Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, where the spirit and culture of the island are most accessible. For more than a century, it has been the island's preeminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. Once a haven for scruffy backpackers, cosmic seekers, artists and bohemians; Ubud is now a hot spot for literati, glitterati, art collectors and connoisseurs.

Request for flexible touring of lush rice terraces, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples and palaces or try one of the many spas, yoga and meditation centres that are big news here, particularly after the bestselling Eat, Pray, Love.

Transfer with your private guide to eastern Bali, one of the island’s most traditional provinces. Spend three nights at an exclusive resort perched on a cliff high above the ocean near Candidasa. During flexible private touring, visit revered temples, royal palaces, and Balinese villages known for their weavings, silk and traditional architecture.

When to go In general, Bali and Lombok have similar weather, though Lombok is dried and receives less rain than Bali. The hot and sticky rainy season lasts October to March with the worst falling between December and February. From June to August, the temperature drops slightly and there is usually a refreshing cool breeze in the air. The best time to travel is the dry season, from April to September. It is also when humidity is at its lowest.
